Speed Park Track Qiddiya city
About the project
The Qiddiya Speed Park Track is a groundbreaking motorsport venue located in the heart of Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia, designed to elevate the nation as a premier global destination for international racing championships. Conceived by former Formula One driver Alex Wurz and renowned circuit designer Hermann Tilke, the fast-flowing track pushes the boundaries of traditional motorsport infrastructure. It features 21 corners and utilizes the dramatic, natural landscape of the Tuwaiq Mountains to create over 108 meters of elevation gain per lap.
The circuit’s most striking architectural element is “The Blade” at turn one, an awe-inspiring, elevated cantilevered section that rises more than 20 stories above a music venue below. Seamlessly blending high-speed action with cultural and entertainment hubs, the track is fully integrated into neighboring attractions, allowing drivers to race alongside the towering Falcon’s Flight rollercoaster at Six Flags Qiddiya City and a sprawling water theme park. By merging state-of-the-art technology, unparalleled functionality, and Qiddiya’s core “power of play” philosophy, the Speed Park Track is set to offer one of the most immersive and innovative racing experiences in the world.
